The Golden Pheasant (Chrysolophus Pictus) is one of the most beautiful rare birds. The Golden Pheasant is native to western China, but feral populations have been established in the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, the Falkland Islands, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.
These beautiful birds also go by the names the Chinese Pheasant, and the Rainbow Pheasant. Its conservation status is least concern, meaning not endangered. Although they are very rare.
