In a developing legal drama, The Game is at risk of losing his Calabasas residence due to a $7.1 million judgment against him for sexual battery. This verdict, dating back to 2016, has recently reignited as Priscilla Rainey, the accuser, intensifies her efforts to seize the rapper’s property.
According to court documents acquired by AllHipHop on June 8, Rainey has served The Game, aiming to secure his Calabasas home to satisfy the multi-million dollar judgment. Rainey accuses the rapper of attempting to obstruct her efforts by transferring the property’s deed to his manager, Wack 100.
Rainey initiated the lawsuit in August 2015, demanding $10 million after alleging that The Game sexually assaulted her during a supposed mandatory after-hours date for the VH1 reality show, She Got Game.
She claims that the rapper, under the influence of alcohol and drugs, forced his hand inside her dress to touch her bare vagina and buttocks. The Game has consistently denied these accusations, maintaining his innocence throughout the legal proceedings.
After a motion for a new trial was dismissed in September 2018, Rainey shifted her focus to the rapper’s financial assets, threatening to pursue his royalties. In 2019, a judge ruled in her favor, allowing her to collect The Game’s music royalties until the debt, including post-judgment interest, is fully paid. Despite this, Rainey reported only receiving $383,502.39 from his royalties by last year.
Earlier this year, court documents revealed Rainey’s renewed efforts to secure the remaining balance of the judgment. She has now targeted The Game’s label, Universal Music Group, requesting a post-judgment writ of garnishment to compel the label to fulfill the court’s financial demands.
As this legal saga unfolds, The Game’s future remains uncertain. The rapper’s fight to retain his home and financial stability continues, with Rainey’s relentless pursuit showing no signs of abating.
