The Common Streaky-Skipper Butterfly (Celotes Nessus) is a stunning butterfly in the family Hesperiidae. They are found in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Northern Mexico. They have a wingspan of 7/8-1 3/16 inches. The upper side of their wing is orange-brown and dark brown, with black streaks on the outer area of the wing. The Common Streak-Skipper’s primary habitat is open thorn forests, scrub, and flower gardens. The adults feed on nectar from nearby flowers.
