The Common Archduke butterfly (Lexias Pardalis) is a tropical forest-dwelling butterfly that is common throughout Southeast Asia and Australasia. The Common Archduke butterfly is a member of the brush-footed butterfly family Nymphalidae. They reach a wingspan of about 4 inches. These beautiful butterflies prefer paths, clearings, and edges of primary forests. They are also easily seen in sunny areas standing on the forest floor.
