The Bhutan Glory butterfly (Bhutanitis Lidderdalii) is a beautiful butterfly of the swallowtail butterfly family (Papillonidae). They are found in Bhutan, parts of northeastern India, and of Southeast Asia.
According to Wikipedia, the Bhutan Glory butterfly was first discovered in May 1868, near Buxa, in the Bhutan Himalayas, at an elevation of 5000 feet by Dr. R. Lidderdale, of the Bengal Army.
Bhutan Glory butterflies have a wingspan of 90-110 mm.
