Authorities in Texas say a substitute teacher and her boyfriend are facing nearly 40 criminal charges after investigators uncovered alleged abuse involving a 5-year-old girl.
Police say Madison Paige Jones, 30, and Zackery Dondlinger, 37, were arrested after a concerned acquaintance contacted authorities about suspicious behavior toward the child.
According to court documents, investigators believe the alleged abuse took place between December 5 and December 17, 2025.
Officials say Jones later admitted to participating in the abuse after Dondlinger allegedly encouraged it, and investigators claim videos were sent to him through Snapchat.
Jones was taken into custody on December 19 while working as a substitute teacher for the Midlothian Independent School District, while Dondlinger was arrested days later on December 23 on an oil rig west of Odessa, Texas.
The pair now face a combined 39 charges related to child sexual abuse, and their total bond has been set at nearly $9 million.
The investigation remains ongoing.
