T-Pain is stirring the pot with his thoughts on Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR’s latest album, $ome $exy $ongs, suggesting it might be a compilation of previously discarded tracks.
During a recent livestream, the auto-tune legend shared his theory that the project could be built from scrapped songs either artist had in the vault.
“I feel like Drake recorded a bunch of sh*t,” T-Pain speculated. “And to keep PARTYNEXTDOOR around, I feel like he was like, ‘Take 10 or 15 of these songs, put a verse on them, PARTY, and that’s our album, bro.’”
However, he made it clear that his comments weren’t meant as a diss.
“I’m not saying they’re bad,” he clarified. “These are just songs that didn’t make previous albums. Or maybe PARTY had an album and asked Drake to hop on a few tracks.”

Despite the speculation, $ome $exy $ongs is proving to be a massive hit. Billboard reports that the 21-track project has shattered records, becoming the most-streamed R&B/Soul album in Apple Music history on its first day.
Whether it’s fresh material or a mix of past sessions, the collaboration between Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR is already making waves.
