In a recent encounter, T.I. imparted some candid wisdom to an aspiring rapper who approached him seeking a record deal. The incident, which unfolded in a parking lot and was shared on Trapicana’s Instagram account, showcased her freestyling skills in front of the Atlanta rap icon.
Trapicana, eager to impress, performed her raps and eagerly inquired about T.I.’s opinion. However, the response she received was not what she expected. T.I., appearing visibly annoyed, responded bluntly, stating, “I don’t.”
When Trapicana expressed her aspirations of joining Hustle Gang, T.I. offered some unvarnished advice: “Let me tell you something: stop running up to people expecting them to change your life. Nobody but you can do that.”
Despite her persistence in seeking a deal, T.I. emphasized personal responsibility, asserting, “I’m helping you by telling you, don’t rely on someone like me to change your life when you already possess everything you need.”
His final words encapsulated his message: “If you do what you need to do, I’ll come find you. You don’t have to come find me.”
