In a bold message from behind bars, Death Row Records founder Suge Knight is calling on Sean “Diddy” Combs to take the stand and speak directly to the jury in his high-profile sex trafficking case.
Knight, 60, who has a long-standing feud with the 55-year-old Bad Boy Records mogul, believes Diddy needs to “humanize” himself in court. During a recent phone interview with CNN, the incarcerated former music executive urged Combs to be transparent about his past to earn the jury’s empathy.
“If he goes up there and admits, ‘Yeah, I did drugs. I wasn’t in control of myself back then,’ it might help,” Suge said. “The jury could see the human side of him and maybe give him a chance.”
Diddy is currently battling serious federal charges, including sex trafficking, transporting individuals for prostitution, and racketeering conspiracy. These charges stem from alleged incidents spanning two decades… from 2004 to 2024… where he’s accused of threatening and manipulating victims to engage in sexual acts. Combs has adamantly denied all allegations.
Knight, known for his tough persona and his role in shaping West Coast hip-hop, emphasized the importance of facing the court head-on: “He should have faith in God, pull his pants up, and go up there and tell his truth.”
The trial, expected to run at least five weeks, could extend beyond early July. As of now, it’s uncertain whether Combs will choose to testify in his own defense.
Meanwhile, gripping testimony from Diddy’s former assistant… identified in court only as “Mia”… painted a disturbing picture. She described enduring degrading abuse and claimed she was often tasked with preparing hotel rooms and cleaning up after wild, often disturbing encounters she called “freak-offs.” According to her, these scenes sometimes included wax, water, and even blood.
As the courtroom drama continues to unfold, all eyes remain on whether Diddy will take the stand… and if his testimony could sway the outcome of this explosive case.
