Stefon Diggs finally addressed the swirling controversy surrounding his Memorial Day boat party video – but don’t expect any juicy details. The New England Patriots wide receiver made it crystal clear: his private life stays private.
Meeting with reporters for the first time since the viral footage surfaced – which appeared to show Diggs offering a pink substance to bikini-clad women aboard a luxury yacht – the NFL star was peppered with questions. But despite the media’s persistence, Diggs shut down every attempt to dig deeper.
“I want to be real with y’all, but I’ve got a rule – I don’t discuss my personal life with people I don’t know personally,” Diggs explained after finishing a workout with his new team.
He kept a calm demeanor as the press repeatedly asked about the content of the bag seen in the video. Diggs stayed composed and consistent, saying, “I’m sure everyone here is a great person – men and women – but I keep my private life private.”
The Pro Bowler did confirm he’s spoken with Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel and others in the organization about the incident but remained tight-lipped about the specifics. “Those conversations stay internal,” he noted.
Even as follow-up questions flew in, Diggs refused to budge. “I don’t want to be rude, but I don’t like repeating myself for the fourth time,” he said, visibly trying to keep things respectful. “You want me to say the same thing again?”
