Skechers told Kanye West they were not interested in a partnership with his brand when he decided to show up unannounced at the Skechers headquarters. Kanye has caused a lot of waves that have caused some major brands to stop working with him.
According to Skechers, Kanye “arrived unannounced and without invitation at one of Skechers’ corporate offices in Los Angeles. Considering Kanye was engaged in unauthorized filming, two Skechers executives escorted him and his party from the building after a brief conversation.”
“Skechers is not considering and has no intention of working with West. We condemn his recent divisive remarks and do not tolerate antisemitism or any other form of hate speech. Again, West showed up unannounced and uninvited to Skechers corporate offices.”
With Kanye’s negative comments about Jewish families, it’s not certain that Kanye knew that Skechers is owned and operated by a Jewish family. Robert Greenberg founded it, and Michael, his son, is currently the President, according to TMZ. According to Forbes, Kanye has already lost $900 million since his public rant.
