Sexyy Red isn’t letting the negativity go unnoticed. The rising rap star recently sat down with Big Boy on Big Boy’s Neighborhood at L.A.’s Real 92.3, where she opened up about the overwhelming hate she receives online.
The St. Louis rapper believes there’s more to it than just casual criticism, hinting at something bigger behind the scenes fueling the negativity.
“I feel like I’m the most hated female rapper,” she admitted. “Yeah, I get a lot of love, but the hate is crazy. It feels like people are being sent to tear me down. I be wondering, is there a hidden agenda? Are labels or other people behind this?”
Sexyy Red went on to say that despite the negativity, her supporters have noticed the trend, too.
Despite the backlash, Sexyy Red continues to dominate the rap scene with her unapologetic personality and viral hits. Whether the criticism is organic or orchestrated, she’s making it clear… nothing is stopping her rise to the top.
