Sean Kingston, the singer, is being sued for $912k by Dream Watch for failing to pay for two designer watches worth a total of $912,600. The watches included a Richard Mille worth $534,000 and a Phillippe Calibre worth $378,000. Kingston had arranged for the watches to be brought from Malaysia to his California home by a representative and had agreed to pay via wire transfer. However, the payment was declined, and he failed to make any further payments or contact the company, resulting in a lawsuit.
This is not the first time Kingston has been sued for not paying for luxury items. In 2014, he reportedly lost his entire fortune due to two cases of unpaid jewelry. In 2015, he was allegedly kidnapped by associates of Avianne Jewelers for failing to pay over $200k, and in 2016, he was sued by Aqua Masters, a New York City-based jeweler, for an unpaid jewelry bill that included custom pieces worth $300k. In 2020, Kingston was also wanted for grand theft after failing to pay another jeweler, as reported by Complex.
