Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani is recovering in the hospital after a terrifying car accident in New Hampshire left him with multiple serious injuries. The crash happened Saturday night on Interstate 93.
According to New Hampshire State Police, Giuliani was riding in a Ford driven by his associate, Ted Goodman, when a Honda slammed into their vehicle from behind at high speed.
The Honda was reportedly driven by 19-year-old Lauren Kemp. Both cars were left “heavily damaged,” and all three people involved were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Giuliani’s spokesperson, Michael Ragusa, confirmed that the 80-year-old suffered fractured thoracic vertebrae, cuts, bruises, and injuries to his arm and leg. Despite the severity of the crash, Ragusa emphasized that the incident was not a targeted attack.
Just before the accident, Giuliani reportedly stopped to help a woman who flagged him down as a victim of domestic violence. He stayed with her until officers arrived, ensuring she was safe… moments later, the collision occurred on the northbound side of the highway.
His son, Andrew Giuliani… who leads the White House’s FIFA World Cup 2026 Task Force… shared an emotional message on social media… As a son, I can tell you I’m honored to have a Dad that I can call the toughest SOB I’ve ever seen!”
