Miami mogul Rick Ross has recently disclosed the title of his highly anticipated solo album – “Champagne Moments.” Making the announcement on Instagram on February 1, Ross hinted at the album being a significant highlight in 2024.
This revelation comes just under three months after the release of “Too Good To Be True,” a collaborative album with Meek Mill. Ross expressed his excitement about “Champagne Moments,” declaring it as a noteworthy project for the upcoming year.
In the Instagram video, Ross went a step further by sharing plans for a distinctive project to be recorded in Africa, featuring exclusively the talents of artists from the continent.
Ross emphasized the inclusive nature of the collaboration, stating, “We want to do a project in Africa with African artists.” He then passed the mic to his business partner and Sovereign Brands CEO, Brett Berish, who elaborated on the potential collaborators for the African project.
Berish mentioned some notable names like Stonebwoy, Yemi, Diamond Platnumz, and Shacko, assuring that they are on board for the venture. Ross proposed an ambitious plan for the project, suggesting, “Let’s do 12 different songs, 12 different countries, 12 different artists.”
He envisions the album as the modern equivalent of the iconic 1985 supergroup “USA for Africa,” which featured artists like Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie, and Stevie Wonder.
Highlighting the scale of the upcoming project, Ross invited producers and artists to prepare for something monumental. He emphasized that this album would be a “powerful project focused on Africa,” expressing his desire to proudly represent the continent.
With these ambitious plans, Rick Ross aims to create a musical masterpiece that resonates globally.
