Rick Ross isn’t losing any sleep over his recent run-in with Drake fans in Canada. Despite his entourage taking the brunt of the altercation, the Maybach Music Group boss handled the situation with his trademark humor and bravado.
On Thursday (July 4), Rozay took to his Instagram Stories to share his side of the story, laughing off the incident and poking fun at the group of men who confronted him at a Vancouver music festival last weekend. According to Ross, the confrontation was nothing more than a minor blip on his radar.
“Man, I’m just thinking about what happened over there,” he said, chuckling. “The first dude that stepped up to me, a little short fat one who looked like Bam Bam Bigelow from wrestling. When he came up, I squatted down, and his eyes told him what I was about to say.
“Basically, ‘Boy, if I hit you, you’re gonna see everything you ate for the last two days.’ His courage disappeared real quick. He didn’t say another word or do anything else. Total busta.”
Ross then addressed the alleged punch that supposedly sparked the backstage melee, dismissing it with a laugh.
“Then this dude behind him was like, ‘I know MMA!’ and then I got hit with a drink,” Ross continued. “I’m still not convinced anyone actually punched me. Someone said, ‘Rozay, the dude tried to punch you, he hit you!’
“I said, ‘Nah, he must’ve thrown a drink.’ ‘Cause throwing a drink is way more disrespectful than just yelling, ‘I know MMA!'”
Ending his video on a playful note, Ross blew a kiss to the camera, showing he remains unfazed by the incident.
