Rick Ross, the renowned luxury vehicle enthusiast, has an impressive collection of over 100 cars, including a Maybach 57S, two Ferraris, and a Lamborghini Murciélago, among others. Recently, the rapper took to Instagram to share his first experience of sitting inside a Bugatti Chiron, a car he doesn’t yet own.
The model he tested was a black and white 2019 version of the iconic coupe, priced at a staggering $3.75 million. Ross gave his followers a detailed look at the car’s interior, featuring Italian Red seats, interior doors, and steering wheel.
The Chiron is powered by Bugatti’s 8-liter, 16-cylinder, quad-turbocharged W-16 engine, delivering 1,479 hp, and can go from zero to 62 mph in just 2.4 seconds, with a top speed of 261 mph.
Despite recently acquiring a fifth Rolls-Royce, Ross was tempted to add the Bugatti to his collection. The car he tested was the only certified, pre-owned model currently available in the country, sold by Bugatti. Ross seemed impressed by the experience and said, “Fat boy sitting in a Bugatti. I’m inspired.”
“Guys, this is a moment,” Ross said as he settled into the Chiron, eyeing the bright blue engine button and scanning the red leather seats. “Fat boy sitting in a Bugatti. I’m inspired.”
A similar model to the one Ross tested is on sale for $3,799,900 at Ferrari Maserati Alfa Romeo of Fort Lauderdale, with a black interior instead of the Italian Red seen on Ross’s social media.
The Bugatti Chiron Profilée, sold at RM Sotheby’s Paris auction in February, holds the record for the most expensive new car ever sold at auction, fetching $10.7 million.
With the next Rick Ross Car Show coming up in 2023, the rapper is out car shopping once again. If he decides to add the Bugatti to his collection, it will undoubtedly be on display beside his 100-plus other luxury cars.
