Rick Ross has seemingly responded to Bobby Shmurda’s allegations that the Maybach Music Group boss got him removed from a concert lineup.
The rapper took to his Instagram Stories on July 17 to share some cryptic messages that fans believe are directed at Shmurda.
In his posts, Ross showcased his luxury lifestyle, featuring bottles of Luc Belaire rosé and custom Rap Snacks, saying: “Ladies and gentlemen, whenever you see someone confused or talking nonsense, say, ‘Shut up and enjoy your glass of Luc Belaire!’”
Ross didn’t stop there. He highlighted a pair of lavish Louis Vuitton cowboy boots, stating: “For you n***as that’s kicking that bullsh*t, at least have on a $12,000 pair of these boots. If you gonna kick some bullsh*t, boy — it’s the Biggest Bawse, n***a. These n***as crazy!”
The Teflon Don further emphasized his point by zooming in on another pair of Louis Vuitton boots, alongside a bottle of Bumbu Rum, adding: “If we kicking bullsh*t, it’s gotta be expensive. $20,000 pair of Louis Vuitton boots, that’s if we gonna kick bullsh*t. We gotta do it like a Bawse!”
The controversy began when Bobby Shmurda accused Ross of having him removed from a concert after Shmurda laughed at Ross being attacked by Drake fans in Canada.
In a now-deleted Instagram video, Shmurda expressed his confusion and disappointment, saying: “Rick Ross, bro… I really f*ck with you. I don’t f*ck with you on no gangsta sh*t… I f*ck with you on some business sh*t and as a man. So how you ain’t call me, big homie?
“Why I gotta get the call from n***as talking about, ‘Yo, Rick Ross kicked you off the show.’ I got the call from Barbados, they like, ‘We do a lot of business with Rick Ross and we don’t think Bobby’s good for the show.’ Come on, bruh bruh. I don’t want no beef with none of y’all n***as.”
Shmurda also insisted he was only “defending” Ross during a previous incident in Vancouver, where Ross was sucker-punched and his entourage attacked. The Brooklyn rapper laughed at the footage, claiming he would have handled the situation differently: “On my dead grandmother, son, I would’ve went out like C-Murder, bruh. I swear to God.”
As the drama unfolds, fans are left speculating about the true nature of the relationship between these two hip-hop stars. Will Rick Ross and Bobby Shmurda squash their beef, or is this the beginning of a new hip-hop feud?
