Ray J has been admitted to a hospital in Las Vegas after developing a serious case of pneumonia accompanied by chest-related complications, according to sources close to the singer.
The 44-year-old R&B artist was taken in late last night, where doctors performed multiple medical evaluations, including chest X-rays and an echocardiogram.
He remains under medical supervision as physicians work to determine the cause and severity of his condition. No official test results have been released at this time.
The hospitalization comes several years after Ray J experienced a frightening health ordeal in 2021. During the height of the pandemic, he was diagnosed with non-COVID pneumonia… an illness that reportedly became so severe he feared he might not survive.
At the time, the infection required oxygen support and the use of an inhaler before he eventually recovered.
In recent weeks, Ray J had been traveling extensively. Just three weeks ago, he shared that he was journeying across the country from Tampa, Florida, even revealing plans that included hitchhiking.
It remains unclear whether his recent travel played any role in his current medical emergency.
