R. Kelly is begging for an emergency release from prison, claiming a terrifying murder-for-hire plot involving prison staff and gang members is putting his life in immediate danger.
The embattled R&B singer, currently serving a 30-year sentence for sex crimes, has filed an emergency motion for release after shocking new claims surfaced in court documents obtained by TMZ.
Kelly’s legal team says they have compelling evidence that a hit was ordered on him… allegedly orchestrated by prison officials and a high-ranking Aryan Brotherhood member.
According to the documents, the explosive allegations come from Mikeal Glenn Stine, a terminally ill inmate and reputed leader within the white supremacist gang. Stine alleges that prison authorities offered him an early release in exchange for assassinating the singer inside a North Carolina federal facility.
The chilling plan supposedly included a promise that, after committing the murder, authorities would stage the evidence to fail in court, ensuring Stine’s freedom. He reportedly approached R. Kelly’s housing area earlier this year, intent on carrying out the killing… but backed out last minute and exposed the plot to both Kelly and legal officials.
Stine now claims he’s willing to take a polygraph test and testify under oath, saying he’s ready to reveal everything. But this revelation may have sparked an even deadlier twist: Kelly’s attorneys say the hit has now been reassigned to another Aryan Brotherhood member, with threats looming over both Kelly and Stine.
To make matters worse, Kelly has also submitted a separate petition to the U.S. Supreme Court, requesting a review of his case. His legal team is now urgently calling for home confinement, citing not only safety concerns but also his desire to continue focusing on music… if he survives
