In a recent development, Georgia authorities apprehended Quando Rondo on Friday (June 16). According to reputable sources like the Savannah Morning News, a grand jury in Chatham County indicted the artist on multiple charges related to drugs and gang activities. Presently, Quando Rondo is in custody at the Chatham County Jail.
His charges include two counts of conspiracy to violate Georgia’s controlled substances act, one count of participating in criminal activity in connection with a street gang, and one count of using a communication facility to commit a felony involving controlled substances. On the day of his arrest, he conveyed a message to his loved ones through an online platform.
Expressing his sentiments via Twitter, he wrote, “I Love You Paris Italy Kiyah My Mama Tess My Grandma Freida I’ll Be Bacc!” The indictment alleges that Quando Rondo, known as Tyquian Bowman in legal circles, was involved in directing the Rollin’ 60s gang in Georgia. The indictment further implicates the rapper and 18 other individuals in drug-related dealings dating back to October 2022.
As per authorities, Quando Rondo purportedly traveled to Macon, Georgia, as recently as June 4 to purchase marijuana. It was also mentioned in the indictment that he advised gang members against carrying firearms while traveling together in a vehicle.
The gang, allegedly involved in illicit activities, trafficked substances such as cocaine, fentanyl, hydrocodone, and M30 pills. The indictment provides intricate details about the utilization of jail phones for orchestrating drug transactions, as well as their operations being centered in Savannah, Georgia.
