Pusha T and Clipse Receive Prestigious Honor with ‘Clipse Day’ Celebration in Washington, D.C.

In a remarkable milestone for the legendary hip-hop duo, Clipse, brothers Pusha T and No Malice were recently honored with their own day in the heart of the United States, Washington, D.C. Pusha T took to Instagram on Saturday, November 25, to share the highlights of their visit to Washington, D.C., which took place earlier in the month. The festivities commenced with a live interview conducted by Hip Hop media veteran Noah Callahan-Bever, representing the media company Idea Generation.

Callahan-Bever reminisced on social media that his first interview with the brothers had occurred more than 20 years ago in June of 2002.

The following day, Clipse took the stage at the prestigious Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, headlining the ‘Hometown Heroes, Global Icons’ series by Kennedy Center Hip Hop, which celebrates artists from the DMV region. The show, titled “A Survivors Celebration,” showcased the duo’s enduring impact on the music scene.

Reflecting on the entire experience, Pusha T expressed gratitude for the warm reception they received in Washington, D.C. He highlighted a significant moment during their Kennedy Center performance – the city officially declared it “Pusha T & The Clipse Day.”
