In a heartfelt tribute to the late Rico Wade, members of OutKast, Goodie Mob, and Killer Mike gathered for a grand Dungeon Family reunion.
This past weekend in Atlanta, hip-hop icons such as André 3000, Big Boi, Killer Mike, Sleepy Brown, and Goodie Mob’s Big Gipp, Khujo, and T-Mo reunited for a special cookout.
The event honored the legacy of Rico Wade, a pioneering producer whose influence shaped the Southern rap scene.
Held at the historic location of Wade’s family home, affectionately known as the Dungeon, the reunion was a nostalgic homage to the basement studio where many early hits were crafted.
Wade’s mother was also present, joining the rap legends for photos outside the legendary site.
Gipp shared the significance of the occasion in an Instagram video, saying, “The Dungeon had a picnic today. Everybody came home: OutKast, Dre and Big, Goodie, Mr. DJ.” This reunion marked a little over a month since Wade’s untimely passing at 52 due to heart failure.
