An Ohio community is reeling after a tragic double homicide that left a mother and her new husband dead inside their own home.
Authorities have charged 39-year-old Michael David McKee with two counts of murder in the fatal shooting of his ex-wife, Monique Tepe, 39, and her husband, dentist Spencer Tepe, 37.
Police say the couple was discovered shot inside their residence on December 30. Investigators report Spencer suffered multiple gunshot wounds, while Monique was struck once in the chest.
Inside the home, officers found three 9mm shell casings. There were no signs of forced entry, and the murder weapon has not been recovered.
Miraculously, the couple’s one-year-old son, four-year-old daughter, and family dog were unharmed. The children are now in the care of relatives.
The case has sent shockwaves through the area as detectives continue piecing together what led to the deadly encounter. The investigation remains active.
