Kanye West’s daughter, North West, is a young talent with big dreams. Just like her father, she refuses to be confined by traditional expectations and aims to reach for the stars. In a recent I-D profile, North shared her career aspirations, showcasing her determination to follow in her dad’s footsteps as a rapper and explore the world of basketball.
At just ten years old, North has a wide range of ambitions. “A basketball player, a rapper, um… Well, when I was seven, I wanted to be a boxer. But now I don’t want to be a boxer,” she confessed. Her desire to diversify her talents doesn’t stop there; she also plans to indulge her creative side with art. “I’m going to do art on the side. When I’m, like, thirteen, I want to walk dogs, to make money to buy art supplies, because everything around here is so expensive,” North explained.
What sets North apart is her entrepreneurial spirit. She aspires to take the reins of her parents’ successful YEEZY and SKIMS businesses one day. “So a rapper, a basketball player, and I’m going to make artwork that I sell,” she added. “Also, one day I want to own Yeezy and SKIMS, and I want to be a business owner.”
North West’s determination and multifaceted interests show that she’s ready to explore various avenues in her journey toward a bright and diverse future.
