MTV is set to host a unique celebration of New Jersey’s hip-hop legacy with “MTV Unplugged Presents: A Hip-Hop 50th Celebration of Jersey’s Finest.” The star-studded event, featuring Redman, Queen Latifah, Treach, and more, is scheduled to air on Thursday, December 14, at 9 p.m. ET/PT, as reported by Billboard.
The memorable performance took place at Newark’s Symphony Hall on November 15 and boasts an impressive lineup. Joining Redman, Latifah, and Treach on stage were known artists such as Wyclef Jean, The Sugarhill Gang, Poor Righteous Teachers, Heather B, Nikki D, Lady Luck, and Lords of the Underground.
