In a surprising turn of events, Nelly was taken into custody this week after being found with four ecstasy pills and driving without insurance.

The “Country Grammar” artist was pulled over early Wednesday morning (August 7) in a suburb near his hometown of St. Louis, according to TMZ.

The rapper, who was released shortly after his arrest, appeared with bloodshot eyes in his mugshot, which can be seen below. Despite the incident, Nelly has yet to issue a public statement regarding the arrest.
