NASA’s Ingenuity Mars helicopter had unidentified debris stuck to one of its lander legs upon its 33rd flight on Mars. Ingenuity’s NavCam caught the debris, and NASA noted that the debris was not present in NavCam images from Ingenuity’s flight and that the debris wasn’t from Ingenuity itself, according to Gizmodo.
Throughout Ingenuity’s journey, the debris eventually floats away. NASA said that they’re researching what the debris could have been, but as of right now, they don’t know.
