Fresh off the successful launch of his latest mixtape, “Hard to Love,” on streaming platforms on June 2, Moneybagg Yo considers this project to be his most personal and introspective work to date. Opening up about his experiences, he told Variety that “Hard to Love” allows him to invite his fans into his world and share the challenges he has faced over the past two years.
“This project, ‘Hard to Love,’ delves into my vulnerability,” Moneybagg Yo explained. “I’m providing my fans with a glimpse into my journey. It sheds light on what I have encountered—both the highs and lows.”
He further expressed, “Being ‘Hard to Love’ is my reality. Trust issues and a tumultuous past have shaped me. Moreover, it becomes challenging to love others when they approach relationships with ulterior motives.”
The mixtape “Hard to Love” includes exciting collaborations with acclaimed artists such as Future, GloRilla, and Lil Durk. This solo project marks a significant milestone for Moneybagg Yo, following the success of his 2021 album, “A Gangsta’s Pain.”
