In one of the most shocking trades in recent NFL history, the Dallas Cowboys have officially sent defensive superstar Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers.
The 26-year-old pass rusher confirmed the blockbuster move on his X (formerly Twitter) account, writing:
According to multiple reports, the Cowboys will receive two first-round draft picks and veteran defensive tackle Kenny Clark in exchange for their defensive cornerstone.
Green Bay wasted no time locking Parsons in long-term, offering him a historic four-year, $188 million contract… a deal that cements him as the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history.
Shortly after announcing the trade, Parsons shared a heartfelt message to Cowboys Nation:
“This is a sad day, but not a bitter one. I’ll never forget the joy of draft night, the adrenaline of running out of the tunnel, or the brotherhood with my teammates, coaches, and staff. Those memories will always be mine.”
He added that North Texas will remain his offseason home, vowing to give back to the community that embraced him since draft day.
“Thank you, Cowboys Nation, for every cheer, every moment, and every ounce of love you showed me. Wearing the star has been the honor of my life.”
