A massive fire tore through a South Miami-Dade property reportedly belonging to Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra early Thursday morning… leaving major damage behind.
Florida fire crews rushed to the scene around 4:30 AM after emergency calls reported two structures on the property fully engulfed in flames.
Dramatic footage circulating online shows the residence swallowed by heavy smoke and intense fire, with officials later confirming that part of the building collapsed from the heat and destruction.
Nearly 30 Miami-Dade Fire Rescue units were deployed to battle the blaze, and after a rapid response, firefighters were able to get the inferno under control. Thankfully, authorities reported no injuries connected to the incident.
Investigators are now working to determine what sparked the fire.
