“Where does that put someone like me, who’s all about the lyrics?” he questioned. “There’s no space for me anymore.” With shows offering lower pay and opportunities waning, Method Man found himself repeatedly touring overseas just to sustain his career.

Opting for a humble start, he eschewed luxury accommodations in favor of staying with his manager, sleeping on her couch alongside her faithful companion, Cody.
