In the latest episode of Comedy Gold Minds, Kevin Hart’s podcast on the SiriusXM radio network, Method Man of the Wu-Tang Clan, opens up about his mental health struggles and how seeking therapy has improved his life.
He talks about how he was once his own obstacle and how he learned to get out of his own way by seeking control over his life, using sports as a way to do so. Method Man encourages self-reflection and emphasizes the importance of seeking help when dealing with mental health issues.
Method Man is one of many rappers who have publicly discussed their struggles with mental health, including Desiigner, who recently admitted himself into a mental health facility on his 26th birthday. The Brooklyn native posted a heartfelt letter to his fans on Instagram, encouraging those dealing with mental health issues to seek help and reminding them that their struggles do not define who they are.
