Megan Thee Stallion, the chart-topping rapper, and singer, recently revealed in a highly publicized interview that Beyoncé, whom she affectionately calls “Auntie,” hooked her up with tickets to the highly coveted Renaissance Tour. The interview was conducted at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party, and Megan’s disclosure sent fans into a frenzy.
“I ain’t gonna tell you who I gottem from,” she joked when asked by Entertainment Tonight about tickets. “Because they’re gonna be hating on me, but I got ‘em. … You know I called up them directly, ‘Beyoncé! Lemme get a ticket!’”
During the interview, Megan also spoke about her highly anticipated new album, which she has been working on since the release of her last studio effort, Traumazine, in August 2022. Although there is no official release date for the new album, fans are eagerly awaiting its arrival.
This appearance was Megan’s first public appearance on a red carpet since her highly publicized court case against Tory Lanez came to an end in December 2022. She assured fans that she was ready to get back to work and make new music.
However, Megan’s legal troubles are not over just yet. The rapper is currently embroiled in an ongoing legal dispute with record label 1501 Certified Entertainment, which will be decided by a jury trial following a Houston judge’s ruling in her favor at the end of 2022.
