Meek Mill has once again ignited the flames of his long-standing feud with Wale, following what he perceives as a betrayal by the DC rapper who associated with one of Meek’s adversaries.
On Monday (April 8), Meek took to Twitter to voice his discontent over a recent photo featuring Wale alongside Dean, someone who has been openly critical of Meek in recent interviews.
In a now-deleted tweet, Meek expressed his frustration, accusing individuals of deliberately aligning themselves with those who wish to see him fail. He even shared a TikTok video where Ant Glizzy recounted an incident where Wale allegedly attempted to sabotage Meek.
Referring to a wrestling match involving his son, Meek further elaborated on his grievances, stating, “Y’all really pushing me to become what you’re asking for!”
The 36-year-old rapper didn’t hold back, criticizing Wale for affiliating with perceived adversaries and insinuating underlying jealousy. Meek recounted a recent encounter, likely at a Wrestlemania-related event, where he claimed to have made Wale leave after he allegedly attempted to ingratiate himself with Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin, akin to a fan.
“I never took this guy seriously, but now it all makes sense,” Meek remarked. He expressed disbelief at Wale’s behavior, particularly his interactions with individuals who hold animosity towards Meek, dubbing the situation as “slime time.”
In response, Wale downplayed the situation, suggesting that most conflicts within the industry eventually resolve themselves and that he prefers to stay out of unnecessary drama. Meek, however, swiftly countered Wale’s remarks with a series of retorts.
Recalling an incident where he witnessed Wale intoxicated and discussing fellow rappers in the presence of numerous models, Meek reiterated his belief that Wale harbors jealousy towards him and has sabotaged his relationships.
Closing his statements, Meek emphasized the importance of loyalty, stating, “I’m from Philly… I don’t associate with individuals who harbor deep-seated animosity towards me, no matter the financial gain.”
