Over the weekend, Master P experienced an unexpected interaction with two police officers at a Walmart store. The iconic founder of No Limit Records had gone to pick up a couple of boxes of Snoop Cereal, a collaboration with his partner, Snoop Dogg when the officers approached him to inquire about the situation.
Master P responded by humorously stating that he was merely “checking my trap out” – emphasizing that it was his legitimate venture. He took the opportunity to share his enthusiasm about his groundbreaking cereal brand. He proudly conveyed, “Let me tell y’all something: this the first Black-owned cereal company. The more we make, the more we give. I’m teaching Black brothers out there how to get their hustle on, how to do it right … Snoop Dogg’s my partner. We changing the game.”
In a lighthearted gesture, Master P handed a box of his cereal to each of the officers, playfully suggesting, “Y’all need to pay for that.” He captioned the encounter with a playful tone, stating, “12 pulled up @walmart ask’n what’s going on! #legittrapping @snoopcereal @snoopdogg. They can have the streets we’re taking over the grocery stores. #godisgood.”
This encounter highlights Master P’s dedication to supporting the Black community through his innovative entrepreneurial endeavors, exemplified by his collaboration with Snoop Dogg on the Snoop Cereal brand. Such initiatives not only create economic opportunities but also foster positive change.
