Former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez, 38, was arrested Saturday after a late-night altercation in Indianapolis left two men hospitalized, police said.
Sanchez, who remains in the hospital, faces charges of battery with injury, unlawful entry of a motor vehicle, and public intoxication.
Police said the fight broke out around 12:30 a.m. and involved two men who knew each other. One suffered stab wounds, the other lacerations. Officials confirmed the second man, a 69-year-old employee of Restaurant Technologies, was injured during the incident.
Sanchez’s agent said he is stable and recovering as the case heads to the prosecutor’s office.
