Brooklyn native Maino found himself in an unexpected fashion predicament after losing a bet against Angela Yee. Revealing the details on his Instagram account on Sunday, Maino confessed that he had placed a wager on Errol Spence Jr. to win in the fight against Terence Crawford, which took place on Saturday.
Acknowledging his defeat, Maino stated, “So yeah, I bet on the fight,” Maino admitted in defeat. “Yes I did. I placed a small wager – not for money, not for bragging rights! But I bet Angela Yee [that] if I lose – ‘cause I bet on Spence – if I lose, then I gotta wear the same outfit for one week straight, take pictures in it, everything. I don’t know how I feel about that. Jasmine, stay out of this. Stay out of it. I gotta figure this out.”
Adding a facepalm emoji to his caption, he further expressed his thoughts, saying, “I don’t know how I feel about this people….One Outfit for One week straight.” Unfortunately, Spence faced three knockdowns by Crawford during the Las Vegas fight, ultimately leading to a ninth-round technical knockout, cementing Crawford’s position as one of the greatest welterweights in history.
