After a protracted legal battle, Ma$e has successfully regained control over his publishing rights, marking the end of his longstanding dispute with Diddy. This significant development was revealed by fellow rapper Cam’ron.
Taking to Instagram on August 30, Cam’ron, celebrated Ma$e’s victory. He announced that the paperwork finalizing the transfer of publishing rights had been completed earlier in the week, and Ma$e was now in the process of reorganizing his musical catalog.
Cam’ron, in his post, also took the opportunity to promote his upcoming mixtape, “The Lost Files,” set to drop on September 8. It’s noteworthy, however, that the mixtape will not feature any contributions from Ma$e.
In his Instagram caption, Cam’ron expressed his joy for Ma$e’s achievement: “My n-gga murder had to sit this one out. He just got his publishing back from Puff. Just finished the paper work for that yesterday,” he wrote in the caption. “Congrats @rsvpmase while he getting his music back in order, I’m dumping my hard drive pause. The lost files vol 1. Sept 8.”
