LL COOL J has recently shared some career advice with André 3000, suggesting a change in direction and a potential reunion with Big Boi for a new OutKast album.
During a guest appearance on LeBron James’ The Shop, the iconic figure in Hip Hop expressed his disappointment with André 3000’s latest project, New Blue Sun LP, which consisted entirely of instrumental tracks. LL COOL J encouraged the Atlanta rapper to return to his roots in rap.
“He’s truly exceptional, no doubt about it. His lyrical prowess is undeniable,” LL remarked. “But let’s leave the flute behind, you know what I’m saying? Imagine if I suddenly started playing the violin. I believe André should collaborate with Big Boi again, either for an OutKast album or pursue a solo project. His talent is too immense to be confined.”
When another guest, Lena Waithe, voiced her appreciation for New Blue Sun, LL inquired further, asking about her favorite track from the album.
