After decades in the spotlight, Lindsay Lohan has finally found peace… by leaving Hollywood behind. In 2014, the Mean Girls star moved to Dubai, trading paparazzi and pressure for privacy and calm.
Now 38, Lohan opened up in Elle’s 2025 Summer Issue about life abroad, motherhood, and reclaiming her identity. “Even taking my son to the park in L.A. was stressful. In Dubai, I feel safe, I have space, and no cameras are following me,” she said.
The former child star, who rose to fame with The Parent Trap, said fame often overshadowed her work. “I wanted to disappear so people would focus on what I actually do… not just drama.”
These days, Lohan is back on screen in Freakier Friday with Jamie Lee Curtis and focused on family, routine, and self-care. “My husband, my son, and I… that’s my whole world now.”
She also shut down facelift rumors, crediting her glow to clean living, green tea, chia seeds, and a dedicated skincare routine. “After having my son, everything changed… my skin, my mindset, my priorities.”
