Lil Wayne expressed his disappointment in a recent wax figure depicting him, claiming it fell short of capturing his true likeness.
A wax statue portraying the iconic rapper Lil Wayne emerged on social media from the Hollywood Wax Museum located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. It swiftly gained attention as people attempted to identify the wax figure as Wayne, though the resemblance was less than convincing.
While the wax figurine impressively recreated Wayne’s distinctive tattoos, it struggled to faithfully reproduce his facial features. Many observers couldn’t help but notice that it bore a closer resemblance to Toosii with dreads than to the Young Money CEO.
In response to the buzz surrounding the wax figure, Lil Wayne took to Twitter to share his thoughts, saying, “Sorry wax museum but dat sh*t ain’t me! You tried tho and I appreciate the effort.” His comment was a mixture of candor and gratitude for the wax museum’s attempt.
Despite Lil Wayne’s diplomatic response, social media users were less forgiving and expressed their own critiques of the wax figure. The general consensus was that it missed the mark when it came to capturing the essence of the legendary rap artist.
