In a recent Instagram Live session on Thursday (November 9), hip-hop icon Lil Kim shared her excitement about the overwhelming demand for her upcoming memoir, ‘The Queen Bee,’ confidently predicting that her pre-sales will outshine even the Bible.
During the live session, Kim expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “Our pre-sales are about to surpass the Bible,” acknowledging the significance of making such a claim about the best-selling book of all time. She added, “And that’s crazy. And the thing is, it’s like the Bible like I don’t take that lightly. I already know that. But it’s like some crazy shit going on behind the scenes.”
It’s worth noting that the Bible holds the record as the highest-selling book globally, with an estimated five to seven billion copies sold to date.
Kim hinted at facing challenges with book publishers, cautioning others in the industry, “You have to be really careful when you deal with these book companies because they try to, like, literally take advantage of you.”
