Kid Cudi recently addressed unfounded allegations suggesting that his choice to wear a dress was linked to an “Illuminati humiliation ritual.” The controversy arose when someone shared a clip of Cudi’s 2021 Saturday Night Live performance, insinuating his involvement with the centuries-old secret society, the Illuminati.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the conspiracy theorist wrote, “Kid Cudi participating in an illuminati humiliation ritual… Is the fame and fortune worth it… #WeWantAnswers.” Cudi promptly dismissed the claim, referring to the user as “silly” and “lame.”
In his response, Kid Cudi addressed the individual named Issac, stating, “Dear Issac u silly stupid lil person and all people under this post. Its the start of a new year and I got time for muthaf**kas like u today. This post is mad f**kin lame of u and sad. A black man cant express himself and be confident AND successful with out it being some conspiracy.”
He continued, emphasizing that his success was a result of divine guidance and his hard work. Cudi expressed frustration with those who engaged in negative comments, urging them to reconsider their perspectives. “My success was given to me by God with the help of my many angels. All u people in the comments that have been tweetin me all day about this sh*t can gargle on my mayo. This moment was a proud moment for me, a shinin moment for all people who express themselves in their art.”
Kid Cudi concluded by asserting that he felt liberated and inspired people with his performance, dismissing the critics as “stupid simple a**es.” He celebrated the New Year with a message to those attempting to undermine his artistic expression: “Happy New Year u f**kin simps.”
