Kate Moss explains why it was vital for her to speak in the Johnny Depp-Amber Heard defamation case. Moss, a former partner with Depp who has been a friend to Depp for years, knows all about what Depp has been going through, which is why she decided to speak during the trial. Moss and Depp were in a relationship from 1994-1998.
“I believe in the truth, and I believe in fairness and justice. I know that John Galliano is not a bad person, he had an alcohol problem, and people turn. People aren’t themselves when they drink, and they say things that they would never say if they were sober,” Moss said.
“I know the truth about Johnny Depp. I know he never kicked me down the stairs. I had to say the truth,” Moss said.
