In a recent installment of The Joe Budden Podcast, co-host Melyssa Ford made serious allegations against Cam’ron, suggesting his involvement with an underage prostitute during his acknowledged group sex sessions with Mase. Cam’ron vehemently denied these accusations on both Instagram Live and his own podcast, even threatening Ford with a defamation lawsuit.
Ford, however, remained unapologetic for her remarks, prompting Joe Budden to firmly stand by her side. Without explicitly naming Cam’ron, Budden criticized him, labeling him as “goofy” on the podcast.

Budden made it clear that he takes the high road and refuses to engage in back-and-forth exchanges. “I don’t do back and forths with none of you n***as out there, I don’t do responding—I like to come in here and dictate. I dictate. I say what I need to say, you feel however you need to feel about it, and we just go our separate ways. I’m not trying to have a discourse,” he asserted.
Despite regularly inviting guests to his podcast, Budden clarified that he isn’t seeking to build personal relationships with them. He expressed unwavering support for Ford, stating, “I feel like it’s our jobs up here to check it, which we did, with love.”
Addressing Cam’s potential legal actions, Budden challenged him to consult his lawyers and questioned the merit of pursuing a lawsuit. “You think you got a lawsuit, call your lawyer. You got enough lawyers, I think they’ll advise you against it,” he said. “And I don’t think n***as paper is long enough for frivolous lawsuits that they don’t have a chance on winning. Call your lawyer, look up what ‘defamation’ means.” he advised.
“Be careful ’cause I’ll tell you one thing I know a lot of people at ICE,” Joe said. Snipers, sharpshooters and I know people in ICE. I’ll have you escorted back up across the border. Be careful. It screams desperation but we’ll get a petition to get you out the country. Cut it out.”
Budden went on to accuse Cam’ron of playing “algorithm games” to boost viewership, emphasizing that The Joe Budden Podcast doesn’t rely on clout-chasing for virality. In this episode, Budden highlighted the podcast’s ability to attract attention without resorting to such tactics, contrasting it with what he perceived as performative behavior by others in the industry.
