Jeezy was recently on the Hot 97 show and revealed that the episode of him and Kanye West on the show ‘The Shop’ will never air and was pulled due to Kanye’s abuse of the platform.
Jeezy has a new album coming out tomorrow and was recently on ‘The Shop’ to promote it and other topics. Unfortunately, the episode was filmed during Kanye’s controversial comments, and the SpringHill Company, in their own little way, said heck no, we aren’t airing this mess.
So for Jeezy, it just happened to be terrible timing, as he was the victim of Kanye’s moment. However, Jeezy said he didn’t take it personally and doesn’t get into other people’s business.
According to Complex, Right after filming ended, Maverick Carter announced his SpringHill Company was never going to put the episode out and didn’t like how Kanye was trying to use their platform for his agenda.
“I was just there to do my thing. But again, it’s not my business or place to speak on another man, you know what I mean? That’s just how I’m rockin’ I was a little, like, ‘Damn. They canceled me, I gotta go see Ebro now. I got a project coming out? Shoutout to Snowfall right now,” Jeezy said.
“I can’t say I understood why they took it off, I just know that I came there, we did it, and I got a call, and they said, ‘It’s a wrap! I didn’t take it personally,” Jeezy added.
