Janet Jackson’s much-anticipated “Together Again” tour started at Orlando’s Amway Center on April 14, but it seems some fans were left unimpressed by the performance and production value. According to SandaRose.com, fans have taken to social media to voice their disappointment.
One fan wrote on the Data Lounge forum, alleging that Jackson lip-synced throughout the show. The same fan also expressed disappointment about the number of dancers, saying that there were only four dancers when previous tours had a troop of 12.
Another fan took to social media to say, “Janet is a global superstar personified. But honey, this production budget is zero dollars. Someone needs to set up a GoFundMe and help a sister out.”
With a total of 33 cities on the tour, including stops in New York City, Los Angeles, Austin, and Toronto, fans still have plenty of opportunities to catch Janet in action. However, it remains to be seen if Jackson will be able to win back the fans who were disappointed by her opening show.
