Hansle Parchment is a Jamaican hurdler who won gold in the men’s 110-meter hurdles at the Tokyo Olympics. Unfortunately, parchment took the wrong bus and didn’t have any money on him at the time, and a volunteer(Good Samaritan) gave him cab money.
If Tijana Stokjkovic, the good samaritan, didn’t give Parchment cab money. Parchment would have had to head back to the Olympics Village and take another bus to the correct venue via the Jamaican Publication The Gleaner.
Because of Stokjkovic’s kind heart, Parchment arrived at the correct venue with adequate time to prepare for the event. Parchment tracked down Stokjkovic and thanked her for helping him get to his event time. He also posed for a photo.
