Karl Jordan Jr., convicted for Jam Master Jay’s 2002 murder, was viciously stabbed 18 times in a gang-related attack at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) on February 22. The violent clash, stemming from tensions between the Bloods and Trinitarios, left Jordan with two collapsed lungs and in critical condition.
Four other inmates were also injured, prompting an MDC lockdown. Investigators later discovered weapons were smuggled inside food packages, leading to 23 inmates… including podcaster Taxstone… being charged.
This latest outbreak of violence adds to MDC’s troubled history, following high-profile incidents involving Sean “Diddy” Combs and ongoing security failures.
